Stenciled gray walls, warm floors and leather daybed. Yes please! |
With spring just around the corner, our attention will soon turn towards the outdoors. Where I am sitting right now, it is 28 degrees out and getting ready to snow. Sigh ... As I stand near the front door peering out the window, I decide to do an entry makeover to freshen things up a bit. Shall I switch out rugs, furniture, lamps, artwork or accessories? How about all of the above! While I go work on my entryway project , browse through these pictures and see what inspiration you find for YOUR entry. Is there one idea in particular you could incorporate into restyling your entryway? I'd love to hear about it!

Colorful artwork, accessories, and a beautiful cabinet with storage is a great solution. |
Fresh artwork against white walls keep this entry fresh. |
Graphic flooring, gorgeous mirror, plush bench and cute pooch = glam entry. |
Warm colors and textures make this an inviting entry. Love! photos via Houzz |
These are gorgeous! The purple and graphic flooring is stunning!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm an artist and I LOVE the white entry with the striking art. I think what I would do for my own though is to have a wall of same-framed works of art. My foyer has an arched entry to the rest of the home and I have always wanted to letter it with "Enter with a Happy Heart". Too cheesy, Carrie? Love this post, btw.
ReplyDeleteWhat I meant by starting with the "I'm an artist" bit is that you would think I'd want to faux or mural up all entryways but no. Sometimes white with great accents just does the trick. It's all about what's right for the space. [Wanted to make sure it didn't read like like (puffed up, ego on) "I'm an artist..."] :)
ReplyDeleteI love the textured interior painting in the last photo. Beautiful.
